Voya Technology Co., Ltd. donated a "clean room 16CH multi-point micro-pollution monitoring system" to the National Taipei University of Science and Technology on the 18th. The equipment has a market value of approximately NT$5 million and will be placed in the Semiconductor Research Center of the Forward Technology Research Headquarters of the University of Science and Technology. The University of Science and Technology has thus become the first university in Taiwan to introduce advanced semiconductor process monitoring equipment. In the future, this equipment can assist schools in developing a third-party impartial verification platform to support the semiconductor industry’s inspection needs in advanced process quality control and environmental monitoring. Through this industry-university cooperation, it is expected to generate more than NT$10 million in related technical services and industrial benefits, and strengthen the domestic semiconductor industry's technical capabilities in process environment monitoring and quality management. This equipment donation also promotes closer cooperation between the school and industry. In the future, relevant courses and plans will be combined to allow students to learn clean room environmental monitoring and pollution control technology in actual equipment environments, deepen students' understanding of the technical needs of the semiconductor industry, and cultivate engineering technology talents with practical capabilities.
